The challenge
A large utility's enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA program faced real end-user adoption risk: training materials were incomplete, business processes were still changing, and the implementation was large and complex. Without a coordinated change and training approach, the utility risked low adoption, operational disruption, lost productivity, and falling short of the value of its SAP investment. It needed a plan to prepare employees, build confidence in new ways of working, and support the transition across critical business functions.
What we did
Led the change management and training workstream, with one integrated plan covering stakeholder communications, training needs analysis, curriculum design, content development, and training delivery. Working alongside business stakeholders and multiple vendors, we modernized the SAP training materials in SAP Enable Now, building 200+ customized transaction simulations across Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Asset Management, and Finance. Targeted communications and change activities reinforced new ways of working, strengthened knowledge retention, and supported lasting adoption.
