Organizational Change Management & Training

ERP Transformation and Adoption

Our client, a large water utility was undergoing an ERP transformation and faced significant challenges with end-user adoption. The issues stemmed from incomplete Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts and insufficient, inconsistent training materials. They lacked a centralized, standardized training solution that could cater to diverse learning preferences and support self-paced learning. The organization needed a robust strategy to clean up existing content, fill critical gaps, and create a sustainable training environment to ensure a seamless transition to their new ERP system.

To address these challenges, we conducted a thorough assessment and cleanup of the client’s existing training materials, identifying gaps and refining content to standardize documentation across the organization. We developed a comprehensive learning transformation strategy, integrating OCM efforts with training initiatives to modernize the organization’s approach. Our team created diverse training content for functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Enterprise Asset Management, using tools like SAP Enable Now and Articulate Storyline. These materials included instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, and on-system simulations to ensure broad accessibility. We also executed targeted communication campaigns to engage stakeholders and maintained feedback loops with key users to refine and adapt the solution throughout the project.

Results:

Our client achieved a seamless ERP rollout with significantly improved end-user adoption and engagement. Training materials were standardized across the organization, enabling consistent learning experiences tailored to specific roles and needs. Stakeholders were well-informed and actively participated in the transformation, supported by effective communication campaigns. Post-go-live resources, including office hours, FAQs, and on-demand training materials, ensured continued user support and learning. Ultimately, the project equipped the organization with a sustainable, modern training environment and enhanced their ability to maximize the value of their ERP investment.
